East Side Block Party

King Park's Block party was pretty fun! We had a lot of people talk with us, take our cards, and sign our petition. The INHP is having more block parties and they are coming really quick. This Saturday there is one at the John H Boner Community Center (http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&ie=UTF8&q=boner+community+center&fb=1&gl=us&hq=boner+community+center&cid=0,0,4769981672341797039&ei=mHX-S_eQGIOOMoSc8Ts&ved=0CCkQnwIwAw&hnear=&t=h&z=16&iwloc=A) This community is very active and I know there are a lot of kids in that neighborhood that skate. Lets get organized and show them that we care. I will post more when I know what time the demo will be. The block party will be from 10-4

KING PARK BLOCK PARTY AND SKATE/RIDING DEMO!!!

The Indianapolis Skate Park Advocates will be working a booth to promote awareness for the new skate park in Indy. King Park is a potential donor for the new park and we want to show them that skateboarders & bikers care! At 1:00pm I need AS MANY skateboarders & bike riders as possible to skate/ride a box, a rail, and a launch ramp to show the community around King Park how cool skateboarding & riding are. We're only demo-ing for half an hour, so try to be there before one.

The address is here:

2301 N. Park Ave.
